Hi John,

sorry to say mate but you don't have a Kat. That's a GSX750ES which is the bike the pop up was based on.
This is what yours looked like originally

as others have said,

not a kat

(or even a pop up """DUCKS""")

but is good old warhorse, had the GSX750efe(full faired one) and dispatched it for a while, til it got stolen and trashed

good luck with the rebuild

H

Oh!!!!! Dont know if this is good/bad or indifferent?????

Do the parts interchange? Surely bits like the handlebars and switchgear will be the same?

I still need plenty of help!

The gsx is much more common than the Katana version, you shouldn't have much trouble sourcing parts, E-bay is a good place to look for parts, also look for new parts on these websites,

http://www.robinsonsfoundry.co.uk/shop/index.php/parts/index.html

http://www.cmsnl.com/suzuki-gsx750_model13694/

Use th CMS site to get part numbers and Robinsons for uk prices, then phone them up to order, they specialize in older Suzuki parts.

Example handlebar part number 56111-31330. costs £14.97....Double check that part number for your exact model though.

When you see the part number on the CMS site it'll be one long part number, when you type it in the Robinsons site add a dash in the middle, like i have in example above..
You'll still get help in here Smile
