| but will the clocks from 750/1100 fit AND work on the 400?? |

There is no reason why they shouldn't as long as you have the correct wiring diagram to match the colours up.
The speedo will be in accurate as the 19" or 16" on the 750 /1100 wont read like the 18 on the 400.
The rev counter and redline will also be out. |

There's two indicator lights for the bigger bikes and one + temp warning light on the little ones.
A little led warning light could be hidden somewhere. |
